EP Mooney is Dublin’s oldest Nissan dealer. Founded in 1971 by Ernie Mooney and his son, the current owner and Chief Executive, Paraic Mooney, EP Mooney Ltd is a family run business, dedicated to new and used cars sales. The company moved to its present, Long Mile Road location in 1974 and to this day remains deeply proud of its Irish heritage.

In August 1974 EP Mooney was approached by the Brittan group with a view to becoming a franchise for Nissan, formally known as Datsun. The decision to accept the offer was never in doubt and once the business was in place the current CEO set about building a team to develop the franchise. Overtime the acquirement of Honda, Suzuki and Hyundai franchises along with the acquisition of adjoining properties resulted in the expansion of the company throughout its native county of Dublin.

Customer care has always been at the heart of EP Mooney’s philosophy and is in fact the cornerstone on which the business was built. The development of a Service department fully equipped with all the necessary diagnostic technology required to maintain any vehicle, a state of the art Auto Body Repair Centre and a highly reputable Parts department confirms the company’s deep routed commitment to cater to the consumers needs from start to finish.

Since forming the company over thirty-seven years ago, the current CEO has invested a great deal of time and effort into establishing high levels of in-house career progression and development opportunities.

In addition, EP Mooney Ltd was one of the first dealerships to hire female sales personnel and train numerous female motor mechanics.
